So I saw this poster in the mall recently:
So when I read that I was like ok, if I read more I’ll get the full sell that I should go and support children and become a big sister or something like that.
But after reading the bottom line closer I still didn’t understand the point.
Bottom line says “In my busy life, the last thing on my mind is the welfare of children. That’s why I don’t bother supporting afterschool programs. It’s the least I can do! Afterschool programs. Ignore then and they’ll go away.”
I feel like I’m watching The English Patient. I know I should get what this means but really I don’t. Are they joking? Are they saying this in a sarcastic manner? Because frankly the sarcasm isn’t transmitting.
