If you’re from the South Bay you’ll understand why you have to drive up to Universal City to watch a movie opening. There’s nothing like seeing movies on opening night in Los Angeles. People dress up, people talk and get involved, and there’s just an energy. So it makes me happy when I hear that people have been lining up for Star Wars -Reveng of the Sith and it’s not even out till May 19. Even when they’re told they’re waiting at the wrong theatre, they still stay. Passionate? Resolute? Clueless? Unemployed? Pick whatever reason, LA fans are great.
