Crap Jobs = The Chance to Meet the Love of Your Life

I’m very biased here because I did find my one great love while shelving tons of scifi and self help books at Bookstar. I think at first you’re bound together by the hatred of a crap job. Then you realize “Oh we feel the same way about this sh*tty experience. What other things do we [...]

Have you ever hugged a dancer?

They’re built like pit bulls. All muscle in a super lean body. They’re amazing. Learned about video from Kottke. Of course. 0

Divorce sucks. Unless you’re watching Aliens. Then it’s totally fine.

My parents divorced when I was pretty young. Overall it wasn’t fun. Going to different houses every other weekend, fighting with two completely different sets of parents, making friends in different neighborhoods. It’s not great. Especially when you’re a gawky girl with a fierce underbite who likes Lode Runner. Don’t know Lode Runner? Here ya [...]

Chemical Brothers: Saturate/Believe

Fierceness Times Ten

In junior high I listened to this band alot. Do you understand the fashion awesomeness in this picture? Please. Take a moment. Is that a wallet?

Years ago a friend and I got mugged. That really sucked. Normally I carry a big fat mother of a wallet with every damn rewards card in existence but because of that “awesome” experience of a gun being pointed to my head, I dont take it with me everywhere. Every morning when I go out [...]

Shower Over Toilet? No.

I really like the idea of this prefab home but they have to fix the bathroom. I stayed in a room in London for 5 days that had a shower over the toilet and sink and it was wrong in so many ways. You need separation of these items. 0

Part of my job involves visiting Ars Technica more than your regular reader. Overall, I do think their content is good. Is it worth charging $50 a year so I can read a full article on a single page or a nicely designed pdf for offline viewing? Oooo exclusive subscriber content that the whole world [...]

Oh my god. I get it now. Let’s all cry together.

With all the Grammy news I just started listening to Adele. I know. Now? Yeah … Now. I don’t listen to the radio since my favorite electronic dance station died so I only know what’s popular from D’s dance class and from my Rdio friends. Things take time for me. I didn’t get into Radiohead [...]

For my nutter butter

Since I know you’re reading your RSS feeds more than G+ and since you’re not on FB or Path I’m saying it here. Love you honey. Original design by Chad Thomas. 0
