    Hi Elaine,

Your site, more than any other, has been a goddess-send…trying to find a dance class for my 15-year-old…we are also gratefully relocated from LA, so she’s pretty hip from all the Hollyweird savvy and wants a teen hip-hop class with a more urban edge (we’re out here in the Sunset!). Adult classes look pretty…adult, which is great, but I’d be appreciative of any teen classes/studios/instructors you might recommend for dance and a way to make some new friends in the City.

    Thanks Elaine!

Hi I would like to know if these classes are adults only. If so, I would love it if you would know where to find hip hop dance classes for kids. Thank you

Hi Elaine, you have a great summary of dance classes! I am so glad I found your blog.
I’ve just started finding an interest on hiphop and dancing in general, so I am a late 20-year-old total beginner. I’ve taken some group dance classes. Few from Uforia, few from Purdance and Luna dance studio in Palo Alto.
Since I am a total beginner, I think having classes that does different choreo every class seem not enough practice and hard to catch up. In order to solidify the basic skills, what do you think is the best way? I was wondering if you know good teacher you could recommend for private lessons.

Thanks for sharing such a great source of informations! extremely helpful 🙂
